I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the coffee spot Le Duque in Chêne-Bougeries, canton of Geneva, Switzerland. I stopped by this café for a quick break and had a freshly squeezed orange juice and a pastel de nata. The juice was fresh and quite good. As for the pastel de nata, I found it a bit too sticky and sweet for my taste, but still decent overall. Prices were reasonable, and the service was polite, though not particularly warm. The interior atmosphere felt a bit plain — background radio was playing, but perhaps some more stylish music and a few decorative touches could help elevate the vibe. There’s a tiny terrace out front, partially shaded, which could be a nice spot to cool off in the summer. However, it faces a busy street with trams and cars passing by. All in all, it was a decent experience — nothing exceptional, but certainly not bad either.

It is without a doubt a place filled with love and care in everything it does, from its incredible products, where the bread is made fresh every day and best of all without chemicals!! And of course, excellent service, where they make us feel special! And to top it all off, they have the best Portuguese sweets I highly recommend it!
